Rumpke acquired the facility in January 2011.
The site includes a transfer station, single-stream recycling and commercial recycling.
The entire facility sits on 10.97 acres.
The transfer station is approximately 5,000 sq. ft.
The single-stream recycling is approximately 9,000 sq. ft.
Commercial recycling for cardboard and metal is approximately 16,000 sq. ft.
Nine full-time employees currently operate the facility.

Processes & Capabilities

The facility receives waste material from Ross, Fayette and Highland Counties.
Recycling material comes from Ross, Fayette, Highland, Meigs and Pickaway Counties.
Waste is consolidated and taken to Rumpke’s Pike Sanitary Landfill.
Recycling is taken to the Cincinnati Material Recovery Facility and the Rumpke Resource and Recycling Center in Columbus.
The site has a Recycling Buy-Back Center available to the public. We buy back several recycling items such as aluminum, copper, steel and brass. Customers unload at the dock or yard and are paid for their materials.
